Queer Eye Candy: Call for Submissions!

Category: CommUNITY, Debauched Diva, Images, Photography, Queer, SugarbutchDiva @ 8:24 pm

Queer Eye Candy is the on-line family photo album for the queer community.” – Geek Porn Girl

“As a straight woman I do not expect to identify with pictures of lesbians right away, but I do, because love is love, laughter is laughter, and happiness is all the same. Thank you for helping me to see this in a new light.” – Kelly

“After being featured in Queer Eye Candy as a femme, and reading all the comments, it made me feel like it was OK to be feminine again.” – Em the Femme

Queer Eye Candywww.queereyecandy.com – is a community website dedicated to showcasing visual representations of butches, femmes, and all sorts of other queers. We as genderqueers know what it’s like to be out in the world and treated strangely, questioned (“Mommy, is that a boy or a girl?” “What are you doing, this is the ladies room!” “Don’t you know it’s dyke night, honey?”), or constantly stared at as we navigate through our days. We know what it’s like to feel outcast because of the way we look. But what if more people were more used to seeing us, in the wide variety of representation? What if the thousands of ways that butch and femme are reclaimed and performed were collected, so we could see how much variety exists within these identities?

And so, our mission of visibility was born.

With weekly features such as Wednesday Butch Hump Day, Date Night Thursday, and Femme Friday, Queer Eye Candy showcases all sorts of representation of and from our communities.

But we can’t do it without your participation! Here’s the part where we ask you to send in fabulous photos of yourself, your lover(s), your friends, your family. You do not need to identify as butch or femme to participate, though the project does focus on butches and femmes.

Submit your high quality, work-safe photographs to queereyecandy@gmail.com and go to http://www.queereyecandy.com/submit/ for further information about sending us your photograph. You can also submit photos through the Flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/queereyecandy.

We hope to see your smilin’ face on the site.

Cheers,
Amber, Cheree, Denise, Tina, and Sinclair

A Night You Won’t Want To Miss

carolqueen1

Four of the 2009 and 2010 NYC Sex Blogger Calendar models are teaming up with Carol Queen this coming Monday (June 8th) at Happy Endings for a sex positive soiree and reading.  Several of the calendar models will be there that night and we’ll be giving out a limited number of calendars that we will sign for you.  This is one event you won’t want to miss!

What: A Sex-Positive Soiree and Reading

Who: Carol Queen visits from San Francisco, joined by Rachel Kramer Bussel, Elizabeth Wood, Audacia Ray, and Sinclair Sexsmith!
When: Monday, June 8, 6-9 pm (reading will start between 7:30-8, last about an hour).

Why: Carol Queen’s coming through town and wants to collaborate with her friends Rachel and Elizabeth to make a space for connecting, schmoozing, touching base, and furthering plans for sex-positive world domination! Her SF nonprofit The Center for Sex & Culture has hosted Rachel Kramer Bussel, worked with Elizabeth Wood on her online community Sex in the Public Square, and has plans to expand its educational and cultural offerings online as soon as we can (if we can’t afford NY real estate, at least we can visit you via your computers). Come mingle with your fellow NY sex people and meet some new ones, then enjoy a reading that will surely be more salaciously smart/sexy brain candy than most people ever get on a Monday (and in some cases, sadly, EVER).
Cosponsored by the hotties at the NYC Sex Bloggers Calendar (www.sexbloggercalendar.com to benefit www.sexworkawareness.org). Free calendars! Signed! (The theme for the 2010 calendar, in production now, is sexual freedom — yay NYC Sex Bloggers!)

Open to everyone 21+ — please pass it on.

Where: Happy Ending, 302 Broome Street, NYC
How much: No charge, but we have a bar guarantee to meet, so have a drink, and donations will be gratefully accepted for the Center for Sex & Culture — no amount to big or too small, and tax-deductible!

The Week In Kink (Wink#36)

wink4via The Alexa Collection

Today’s WinK post will be short and sweet as I spent most of the past few days either working online or on the 2010 NYC Sex Blogger Calendar.  (more about that in the next day or so) and putting together the June CommUNITY newsletter that comes out tomorrow.

There is still time to sign up for the newsletter over on the right side of this blog and I can still include something in it if you email me by 10:00am tomorrow at diva@bestsexbloggers.com.   I usually twitter these requests for submissions for the newsletter and every so often I request links for both The Week In Kink and Friday Foto Fiesta.  You can follow me on twitter at debaucheddiva.

Lately I have been receiving some inquires asking if we will once again be selling personalized days on the NYC Sex Blogger Calendar this year like we did last year.  The answer is yes and we expect to start selling those in the next few weeks.  You can follow the calendar on twitter at NYCSexBlogCal to keep up with the latest news including when the personalized dates will go on sale.

With all the news and information out of the way here are this weeks links for The Week In Kink,

Diva’s Favorite pick this week is my good friend Bad Bad Girl’s post.   This line has me laughing my ass off every time I read it.  It is what I call classic Bad Bad Girl.

Hoooly studcakes, batman.

It’s like a fucking buffet of hot men.  I mean, a big bowl of hot man soup.

Somebody hand me a spoon.

The Week In Kink (WinK#27)

wink27Photo via The Alexa Collection

Last week I started following Alexa’s tumblr and the photo above is from it.  If you have never seen her tumblr collections I highly recommend you take a look.  She finds some of the most erotic photos I have seen gathered together.

Just as on Friday, I am once again late putting up this post because I was out until the wee hours of the morning today.  I started my evening by going to the HyperGender show that is co-produced by fellow sex blogger N.  It was an amazing show and if you are in NYC I very much recommend you catch next months show.

A little bit late in the day but finally here is this weeks Week In Kink,

  • Bill and Desiree: Love Is Timeless by Domina Doll on Viviane’s Sex Carnival
  • Everything they do, they do with exhilaration and wild abandon. They explore their sexual love like children who are delighted and amazed by everything they see and touch. I had a perma-smile welded on my face as I watched them make love with such tenderness: their smiles, laughter and joy radiating out of the screen to affect me as well. It was so powerful and beautifully poignant to watch their sweet ecstatic moans and tearful orgasms as they convulsed with ecstasy.

My Two Cents

When I took over Best Sex Bloggers from Catalina last month the first change I made was to no longer post reviews on here. What started off as a way to let the readers learn about different sex toys was becoming the main content on Best Sex Bloggers.

I personally for the past few months had felt that all I was seeing on blogs anymore were reviews. Every time a new post came up in my reader it always seemed to be a review. I think my final straw on this was when Babeland was offering their affiliates the penis cake pan to review.

This week I was glad to see others speaking about this issue when I read this post by Sinclair and today this one by AAG. They both make some very good points about this issue.

The Pleasurists had 75 reviewers on their 2008 best of list. Since then I know more bloggers are now reviewing for sex toy companies and I have no doubt that list will easily be 100 reviewers this year. If each person posted one review per week that is 75-100 reviews each week. There are not that many sex toys out there and what we end up seeing is the same toys reviewed over and over.

I have made the personal choice to not review sex toys or to make money on my blog. That is my choice but I also think everyone has a right to make an income on their blogs and to do reviews if they wish. I just think there has to be a change in how things are now because in the past few months I am finding less and less content to read on blogs.

This doesn’t even begin to address that part of how when a blogger lends their name to a sex toy company by doing reviews for them it isn’t just about the toy they are reviewing. Most people expect that writer to know the company they are dealing with and all the products they carry. AAG made some very good recommendations in her post that I think reviewers should use as a guideline when they make the choice to review for a company. I know I want to give my business to companies that I respect and feel are an asset to our CommUNITY.

My last part of this post is written in my capacity as part of Quid Pro Quo. That position puts me on the other side at times with these companies as I work with marketing and PR for them. I personally think this year we will see an end to this over saturation of sex toys being handed out. Some bloggers may have high traffic numbers and sales through their affiliate links but overall these companies are not seeing the returns in sales for what they are giving out. They are going to start looking for different ways to market their products than all these reviews that many people seem to be skipping over reading half of the time.

Now with all of that said if someone were to offer me the Njoy Eleven to review I would jump on it in a heartbeat. I guess I do have my price and it is the Eleven.

Addendum:  There are now two more posts on this subject.  You can read what Sylvanus wrote here and what Scarlet Lotus wrote here.

    PayPal and Sex

Some of you may have noticed with have moved from selling our calendar through PayPal to Audacia Ray’s store on her site Waking Vixen.  This change was made last Monday after our account had been put on review for the second time by PayPal.

Last Sunday we received an email from PayPal stating that our account was under review and they were requiring additional information for four transactions that occurred on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  We were able to provide the additional information they requested and our account was fully reinstated within the hour.   This however was the second review we had received since opening the account.  When we first opened this PayPal account we received a phone call from them questioning what exactly we would be selling.

We believe what has caused PayPal to twice now review our account is the word “sex” in both our email address and the actual calendar title.  Because of this we made the decision last Monday to move the purchase transactions over to Dacia’s store.  We were lucky that someone involved with this calendar already had a merchant account that made this possible.

It is obvious to us and many others in this community that PayPal is not good to use for anyone in the adult industry.  We were aware of others who had had their accounts frozen and their funds taken by PayPal for what PayPal felt was a violation for their TOS.  We did not think when we set up our Paypal account we would have this problem because there is no nudity in our calendar.  As a matter of fact our calendar shows less skin than the Sport Illustrated calendar does but we do not want to take the risk of having the funds in our account seized.

Who The Hell Are These Hotties?

They are 12 of NYC’s sexiest women!  They are the official pin-up girls of the 2009 Sex Blogger Calendar.   Curious who is who?  Have you ever wondered what some of our very own Best Sex Bloggers look like?  I won’t give it away, but Em and Lo did!  Click on the image to go to Em and Lo’s Daily Bedpost interview with our own Urban Gypsy and learn a little about these sultry sex vixens, but before you do, try to guess who is who.  Your choices are:

Audacia Ray is a new media professional whose medium is sex. Over the past seven years, she has been a researcher and curator at the Museum of Sex, blogger for sites like Fleshbot and Naked City, author of the book Naked on the Internet, director of the award-winning porn film The Bi Apple, executive editor of $pread magazine, and adjunct professor at Rutgers University. She is also the vice president of Sex Work Awareness, the organization that will benefit from this calendar’s fundraising efforts. Her video podcast lives at LiveGirlReview.com and her blog WakingVixen turns five years old in 2009.

Desiree is a brainy, sexy, foodie, geeky, writer chick from New York who has always had an inclination toward the naughty. Sex is her absolute favorite topic of conversation and has been since way before she had any business conversing on the subject (starting at about age 2). She never backs down from a Scrabble challenge and once scored seventy six points with the word ‘clitoris’. She blogs about sex and culture and life at Baser Instincts

One fateful day, for better or worse, Diva, looking online for a momentary escape from her household chores, stumbled upon sex blogs. Her life hasn’t been the same since. Meeting up with a notoriously perverted blogger triggered a resurgence of sexuality frozen under layers of domesticity and monotony. She started Debauched Domestic Diva to record her new experiences and the conflicting emotions her weekly trips to New York City spurred. Writing her blog, slowly becoming a technical guru and being immersed in a new uber-cool circle of friends has given Diva the spark she was searching for that auspicious day.

Sociologist, blogger, and activist, Elizabeth Wood co-founded Sex In The Public Square as a place for academics, activists and people just plain interested in sex to talk about the intersections of sexuality and society. Dr. Wood writes about sex work, social justice, human rights, and is developing the idea of the “sex commons,” the space created by the increasing number of web sites and blogs where people can share sexual knowledge and expand sexual freedom.

Jamye Waxman, M.Ed is a writer, author, director, producer, host and sex-positive feminist. She is the former sex advice columnist for Playgirl Magazine, the author of “Getting Off: A Woman’s Guide to Masturbation” and the creator of the Personal Touch Video Series for Adam and Eve Pictures. Jamye has been dubbed the “nexxxt generation of sex educator” by wired.com and she is the President of Feminists for Free Expression.

Lux Alptraum serves as Editor of Fleshbot, Gawker Media’s blog about porn, sex, and the web, and Editor of Boinkology. Career highlights include founding and running That Strange Girl (the first altporn site to feature both male and female models), interning at Nerve, and keeping the masses educated about sex for the past ten years. Her writing has appeared in Time Out New York, Best Sex Writing 2008, and GOOD Magazine.

Having been trapped in a painfully awkward phase since, well, forever, with little more than one measly, anonymous kiss under her belt, Mariella’s gift to herself for that pivotal 21st birthday wasn’t the customary forty of Heineken, but the services of a professional pervert. With that pesky virginity thing taken care of, she served a brief stint in Nailing-Everything-That-Moves Land, but ultimately decided to dabble in debauchery on a significantly smaller scale. When she’s not getting lost in the subway or the swirling language of Faulkner, she’s stumbling blindly through basic human interaction, blogging every step of the way.

Rachel Kramer Bussel is a writer, editor, blogger, and reading series host. She has edited over 20 erotica anthologies, including Tasting Him, Tasting Her, Spanked, Rubber Sex, Dirty Girls, Crossdressing, and the non-fiction Best Sex Writing 2008 and 2009. She is Senior Editor at Penthouse Variations, hosts In The Flesh Reading Series, and is a former sex columnist for The Village Voice. She blogs at Lusty Lady and Cupcakes Take The Cake.

    Marie “Riese” Lyn Bernard
is a freelance video-maker, journalist, blogger, vlogger, fictionist, copywriter, essayist, re-capper, and aspiring cyber-performance artist based in New York City. She blogs at “This Girl Called Automatic Win” and recaps homo-sexy television at “Automatic Straddle” and for “The L Word Online.” Her work has appeared in Marie Claire, Curve, OurChart, Nerve.com, Clean Sheets and Conversely as well as books including The Bigger the Better, the Tighter the Sweater: 21 Funny Women On Beauty, Body Image, and Other Hazards of Being Female, Dirty Girls, Best Women’s Erotica 2005, Best American Erotica 2007 and the Lambda Literary Award-winning Erotic Interludes 2: Stolen Moments.

Sinclair Sexsmith is a chivalrous kinky writer, queer butch top, and feminist sex educator in New York City. He runs Sugarbutch Chronicles, a personal writing exploration of sex, gender, and relationships, and attempts to celebrate queer theory, sexuality, gender, and culture in ways that are expansive rather than restrictive, liberating rather than limiting. Mr. Sexsmith has degrees in both creative writing and gender studies, and his poetry and erotica has been published in various places, including Best Lesbian Erotica.

Tess may be a New Yorker but she’s really a gypsy at heart. Albeit a gypsy who sees herself frolicking through the forest clad in garments from the season Givenchy was high on the peasant aesthetic, nimbly avoiding stray branches and skipping over rivulets while kicking up her Prada brown suede stilettos. Tess is truly the embodiment of an Urban Gypsy, the title of the blog where she writes dark and moody D/s themed erotica, reviews sex toys, shows off her generous cleavage and generally reveals too much information. Several of Tess’ oh-so-wrong-but-oh-so-right fantasies are scheduled to be published in upcoming erotica anthologies.

Twanna A. Hines is a New York-based writer, editor, blogger and sexpot. Her dating commentary has been heard on NPR, and details about her rendezvous have been printed in Glamour magazine. She has written about sex, dating, relationships, men, pop culture and celebrities for Huffington Post, Lifetime, Nerve, Gen Art, Fast Company and others. AOL placed her site, FUNKYBROWNCHICK.com, on their Black Voices list of best blogs. Twanna’s sites have also been mentioned in New York magazine and online at Gawker Media, EbonyJet, Vibe and elsewhere. She speaks English and Dutch fluently. Get down with the funky brown at Funky Brown Chick.

So how did you do?  Did you guess 10/12 correctly?  8/12? I’m curious, leave a comment, if you would!  And remember, when you buy a calendar, not only do you get twelve months of pin-up sexy, you are actually helping to support the Sex Worker Awareness project that was founded by a group of sex workers and their allies who, after working with $pread Magazine for several years, saw a need for deeper support and advocacy than a magazine can offer. The organization was created around the core belief that all sex workers have a right to self-determination; to choose how they make a living and what they do with their bodies.j

It’s a win-win in my book!  Something for me to put in my office and a way to contribute to my CommUNITY.  If you’re in NYC on November 14th (that’s in just a few days!) then plan to make an appearance at the party.  You can meet me (oh ya, and the pin-ups) and the first 100 to arrive have awesome gift bags.  I know, because I’ve somehow volunteered to help put them together and there is some amazing stuff in there!

8 Against 8: Vote NO on Proposition 8

Five days ago, 8 lesbian bloggers set out on a nice little grassroots netroots effort to raise money against Proposition 8, the ballot initiative that seeks to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in the State of California.

Grace the Spot, Lori Hahn, Kelly at The Lesbian Lifestyle, Dorothy Surrenders, Pam’s House Blend, Riese, Renee at Lesbiatopia, and me, Sugarbutch Chronicles, have been posting (in some cases excessively) about Proposition 8 and about gay marriage.

What happened next exceeded our expectations. Donations started rolling in by the thousands of dollars per day. Less than three full days into the campaign, the eight bloggers against Prop 8 reached our initial goal of $8,000. BUT WE’RE NOT STOPPING. Let’s see how far we can take this. Let’s see how much we can get. Let’s find out just how much it’s going to take to defeat this Proposition of hate and bigotry.

    Vote NO on Proposition 8!

I don’t know about you, but I like a little politics with my sex. Intellectual stimulation gets me hot. A little activism, a little social change, a little acknowledgment of hierarchical oppression systems and the marginalization of certain groups – someone talking about the ways they are going to change the world will instantly turn me on.

Here at Best Sex Bloggers we mostly talk about who we fuck, who we connect with physically, which often leads to who we connect with emotionally, with whom we want to spend time, build homes, and raise families.

Sex and relationships are intertwined – there’s just no way to get around it. Even if it we aren’t talking about an exclusive, monogamous relationship full of high expectations of roles or time, we are still in a relationship of some sort with the person we are fucking.

And hey, the government likes it when we’re in these relationships. In fact, the government gives us certain rights and privileges to make it easier on us to live our lives. Work hard, contribute to the economy, raise our families, be a productive member of society – governments know that we are better for our nation-state when we have happy, stable, home lives.

(You know where I’m going with this, don’t you.)

But some of us enter into relationships that are deemed as less-than. Not “real.” Not as valid. You know what I mean. I’m sure many of the writers, contributors, and readers here at BSB have experienced some sort of discrimination based on the type of relationship you are in – be it a triad, an open marriage, a master/slave D/s contract, or a relationship with someone of the same sex or gender.

The whole system of marriage and the equation of government+state=love needs revamping – I am the first to hold picket signs in that rally. There isn’t enough activism around kink or poly relationships, and the issue of gay marriage is largely about normalization, I know. It is problematic.

But meanwhile, homosexual relationships need to be legitimized. Perhaps it will, as conservatives fear, be a gateway ruling that will lead to more openness about marriage and relationships in the future. I sure hope so – relationship orientation is just as interesting, complicated, and necessary to empower as sexual orientation, and we’ve got a long way to go on that activism still.

    So. What can you do?

There are some serious propositions & amendments on the ballot in various states coming up in this election. Even if you aren’t voting in those states, I urge you to repost these links, educate yourself, register to vote, ask all your friends and family and acquaintances and colleagues and strangers in the elevator if they are registered to vote, get up off your ass and out of your whips and chains and VOTE dammit on November 4th.

8 Against 8: 8 lesbian bloggers, 8 days, raising $8,000 as much as we can against Proposition 8 in California.

Also vote No on Amendment 2 in Florida, No on Proposition 102 in Arizona , No on Question 1 in Connecticut, and No on Act 1 in Arkansas.

The Last Sex Toy Contest of September – Open To Everyone

Our last contest of the month is open to anyone and everyone.  It’s very simple – several of our contributors are involved in a non-profit project that benefits Sex Worker Awareness – the New York City 2009 Sex Bloggers Calendar.  We’re talking a traditional hang it on the wall (but collectible) calendar with 12 of NYC’s hottest sex writers in a burlesque/pin-up theme.  Hot!

In order to help fund this project several sponsors have stepped forward and offered financial support and for that, we are very grateful.   However, there is still a big gap between the “money in” and “money out” columns.  One way you can sponsor this monumental project is to “buy a day” for $10.00.  This is perfect for brands with an online presence who want to list their URL or for companies with a product to sell, but it also reminds me of the CommUNITY Calendar our town made every year to raise money – where instead of advertising a site or a project, people left special messages on their anniversaries and birthday wishes to friends.  Either way, for $10 you pay for a day, but your message or advertisement is seen for the entire month.

Now the contest part! Go to http://sexbloggercalendar.wordpress.com and buy a day.  When you do, mention BSB Contest in the comments section to be entered into the contest.  For each day you buy (each $10 you spend) you are entered into the contest, so if you buy an entire week, you will be entered 7 times.  Easy!  Just be sure to mention BSB Contest or it doesn’t get entered.

Now tell them what they win, Bob…

Well, Catalina, the lucky winner of this contest has their choice of the Aneros or the Hitachi Magic Wand, which is provided from EdenFantasys.com, who is not only a corporate sponsor of the calendar project, but has also provided us all month with great sex toys for our contests here on BestSexBloggers.com

Thanks, Bob.  Now, go and buy some days!  It’s a win-possible win situation.  Ultimately you can’t lose!  It’s good on a karma level, it makes good business sense, and if you win you will have a very nice prize!

Big Momma by Altered Aperture (http://alteredaperture.com)

What began as as a little “what if…” has materialized into a project that is underway and on schedule for release soon!

And The Winner of The First Ever BestSexBloggers.com Writers Contest Is (The Envelope Please…)

The Prize - From EdenFantasys.com (model not included)

…Creation Myth, by Sinclair Sexsmith, the writer of The Sugarbutch Chronicles wrote the winning flash fantasy.  Unfortunately, the woman holding the prize is not included.

For his prize-winning flash fantasy, Sinclair wins the For Your Nymphomation XL Sex Toy Case (which I really, really want!!)**

    The Creation Myth

I never see Jackie without it. She carries it like a briefcase nearly everywhere she goes.

It isn’t gratuitous; she is always coming from or going to a job. She only says she sees “private clients.” I hear the rumors, we all do: she’s a professional bottom. A top trainer.

“She breaks us like horses,” my friend B whispers loudly after Jackie leaves our table at our usual watering hole. “Ruthless.”

I ask her at parties when she is lightly buzzed from vodka and I have knocked back too many bourbons. “Electro kit?” I ask. “Ropes. Restraints. Leather harnesses with training wheels.” Jackie laughs in a wouldn’t-you-like-to-find-out way.

“You don’t need to know yet,” she says. “You don’t need it.”

Flattering, but frustrating. I am convinced her case holds the key to some heretofore untapped topping in me. I play the idea of her correcting my technique as I beat her, guiding me as I fuck her, over and over in my mind when I jack off. I imagine this would entice me and enrage me until I lose control a little, unleash, and let her have my all.

Until I surrender to my power.

She nearly has that case latched onto her wrist with a handcuff and a silver chain. She shows up exhausted and barely touches her drink, unless she is shining, serene and rosy-skinned and I ache to create such afterglow.

It isn’t that she’s beautiful, it’s that she won’t give in. She laughs off my advances and I want her more. I see it happen and hate myself for it. I could have anyone, why do I want her simply because I can’t have her? I do so like the chase. I do so like the conquest.

I am ready to relinquish when she approaches as I am ordering another round at the bar.  Well, she says, “Tonight’s your night.”

It would be a lie to say I don’t know what she means. I feel myself ready to jump, ready to knock back all the glasses on the bar and throw her onto it, ready to lunge for her case (under the table on the right side where her calf had been nuzzling it all night) and rip it open.

The barkeep brings my bourbon and the pitcher of microbrew for the table and I gather the drinks, drop them off.

I nod to Jackie, then to the case.

As soon as it’s in her hand, I practically drag her from the bar. The table of our friends is silent, watching, then buzzing the second my hand is on the door and we’re gone.

She slides the case into the backseat of my car. “Jacqueline” is embroidered in script on one side. I’ve never seen that before.

At my place, Jackie throws the case onto my bed, unzips it slowly. “Now,” she says.  ”Let’s find out how you begin, and when you give in.”

    And she opens the case.

**An extra special Thank You to EdenFantasys.com for providing us with this fantastic toy case.  Please support us by supporting those who sponsor us :-)

    Sugarbutch Star Contest, 2008!

Category: Bloggers I'd Like To Fuck, Kink, Lesbian, Queer, Sex, Sugarbutchsexsmith @ 11:36 pm

Well, it’s that time again … I’m doing another Sugarbutch Star Contest!

    Here’s the deal:

    • YOU send in the details for an erotica/smut story
    • I pick my FIVE finalists, my favorite scenarios
    • I write up those finalists, one at a time …
    • When they’re all written, readers vote!

Want to be a star on Sugarbutch? This is whachoo gatta do:

Come up with a good scenario for me to write out. And I mean good. Read through last year’s, they are elaborate, fun, and hot. The infamous winning entry, The Diner on the Corner, remains one of my favorite smut stories that I’ve ever written

Include in your scenario outline the characters (who is doing the fucking), the setting (where are we fucking), and the plot (who does what to whom).

Here’s the Claire Danes example I used last year:

Characters: Sinclair & Claire Danes. Claire: redhead, petite, great legs. Particularly proud of her pouty mouth, that could be a nice detail somewhere.

Setting: Central Park & Claire’s apartment. We are both in the park to watch a free concert and catch each other’s eye. Claire approaches Sin, flirting ensues, Claire invites Sin to walk her home.

Story: Claire is very bold and asks Sin up for a nightcap; proceeds to seduce her with jazz music, fingers in Sin’s hair, a short skirt. When Claire gets Sin to the bedroom she gives Sin a blowjob and then straddles Sin, fucking until they both get off. Claire then ushers Sin out kinda fast and laughs at her attempt to get her number.

So make it look something like that. The details are key! Especially in the characters, give me some defining clothes they might wear, facial features, hair color, all that, so I can add those details in. But please, make your submission half a page or less.

EMAIL me this description at: aspiringstud at gmail dot com.

Prizes are TBA, but will probably include some good smut books, possibly some sex toys, and maybe even a night out on the town with yours truly.

DEADLINE for entries is Monday, September 1, 2008. Three whole weeks folks … c’mon, give me your best shot.

(You are definitely welcome to reproduce that image on your own blog, and link back here, to www.sugarbutch.net/sugarbutch-star-contest. And hey, thanks!)

The Butterfly Temptress is Tempting BestSexBloggers.com Readers Now

    Catalina by Altered Aperture (http://alteredaperture.com)

    Catalina by Altered Aperture (http://alteredaperture.com)

Yep, I’m happy to report that the BestSexBloggers.com just keeps attracting the Best Sex Bloggers and writers and photographers from the Blogosphere.  We’re pretty psyched, because more variety, quality variety, was what we were striving for at the beginning of this project.  Heck, even Fleshbot wrote us up today (Thanks, Fleshbot!!)

The Butterfly Temptress is just your average everyday fat bisexual submissive housewife with a heart of gold and husband that is everything she ever could have dreamed of. When she isn’t battling cancer she can usually be found tackling the joys and pitfalls that come with being not only an ex-wife and a mother but also a sexual abuse survivor that believes healing is possible even when it comes to sex lives. And when their house finally falls silent at the end of the day she chronicles her journey for the world to see. Her writing covers everything from relationships and marriage to sex advice pieces and sex toy reviews. Her hope is to soon bring her own unique voice to podcasts and other collaborative writing projects and she welcomes any and all forms of communication with those who read her work.

We’re expecting a few others to join – I’m waiting for details from Padme from Journey to the Darkside and Sinclair Sexsmith of Sugarbutch Chronicles just sent me an email about Lolita Wolf’s Predictions and Predelictions also joining our kinky little korner.  I am looking forward to adding them both to the list of Best Sex Bloggers (and photographers!)

We Have The Best Sex Bloggers and Photographers On The Internet In One Place
