The other day Jenn Martin came over and we were hanging out. The first time I suspended her it was upside down and very involved. This time around we were just chilling in the studio and I decided to do a much easier pin up style suspension on her.

I decided to put this up on CostumeCuties.com because it turned out so cute. But really and truly we were just spending the day talking and laughing and this came of it. I love it when that happens!! Jenn is a model-turned-friend, and that is a rare but awesome thing lol!!

I’m going to the Candy Ball on Nov 15th as a model and a photographer. It’s going to be fun to wear two hats at the same event lol!!

Athena Fatale is one of the nicest, sweetest, most sadistic and beautiful women I have met yet. Essentially she’s made of awesomeness soup. I met Jinx1313 at Mr S Leather when she was there for a photo shoot with Cortes Photo, she was going to shoot with Athena as well.

Once Athena arrived at the loft we all got to hang out for a bit and then she asked if I would suspend Jinx1313 for a photo. I could have hugged her right then!! Well of course I will suspend Jinx1313! And better yet I’ll do it in the bathroom.

The bathroom in the loft is about as big as my bedroom at home, with marble walls, marble garden tub, bidet, and more shower heads and nozzles coming out of the walls than House of Pain’s got rhymes. The best part of it all was the suspension point above the tub.

So there I am with two ridiculously hot women in a bathroom, one in sexy latex, one clad only in heels. What to do, what to do. You know, sometimes my life is just hard ;) Luke Degre let me borrow some of his hemp ropes and I went to town! The pic above is one of my favorites from the set.

But it gets much better. After a bit of posing and playing with Jinx1313, Athena gets a shower nozzle and turns the set into a water bondage shoot. Me? Oh yeah, I’m happy as hell at this point! Well I’m going to stop talking about it, after all a pic is worth a thousand words right? Well these are worth a million!

Fivestar (above) is one of my favoritestest people in the world, see how fun she is? She suspended herself right there, pretty cool huh! This photo was actually taken before Folsom, but I thought it was the perfect intro photo. I won’t give commentary on these photos, I will just leave the details up to your imagination!

Sunday mia and I have a hair modeling thinger that we’re doing. This means that today we are spending a lovely day getting our hair cut and colored. Neither of us have a clue what they are going to do with us so it’s going to be interesting :D

I never know what to do with my hair so I chop it off and then get lazy and let it grow and do its own thing. I will miss being able to pull my hair in a ponytail if they cut it short, since I hate for my hair to get in my face when I’m working. Have you ever caught your hair in someone’s buckles while you’re trying to tie them up? I know right! Me too!

mia is nervous about her hair! When she walked in the room one of the stylists went nuts and grabbed her and started speaking Spanish. That guy was so excited about her hair, he was just all over the place! I knew they’d like her, she’s got amazing hair! I’ll post pictures (assuming they don’t scalp us!!). Wish us luck.

Walking a runway is going to be weird, I hope I don’t trip and bust my ass! Say goodbye to the mop ;)

This would also have to include the red carpet awards party we threw where the winners received silver shoes pasted with glitter and sequins in place of a trophy, and awards were given out according to merit and talent. Mess got “Best Supporting Actress in a Romantic Black Comedy” since all of her relationships were of the comical genre at the time. Then there is the Marilyn Monroe Party where everyone (yes, everyone) had to dress as their favorite Marilyn to get in. And let’s not forget the Preston Dorm Thong Competition Dance Parties we would throw in the halls of the old dorm. I sat on the judging panel for all of them of course ;) Ok…so maybe a photo session recreation would only be fun for me, and I doubt anyone else would “get it” but still it’s an idea!! And well I have to do something with this inflatable pool. Any volunteers ;)

Here at the Ark life is typically peaceful and quiet, what with three people, three dogs, and three cats running around. Hrm, we need to redub the house since we’ve grown past two of everything. Anyway. So yeah, life here is usually peaceful. Now add two grown folk coughing and hacking all night and suddenly the peace is all gone.

Sadly I, the unemployed, have yet to be infected by this plague while my working “halves” are all sickly and ‘puny’ as my stepdad would say. This has put me in the position of nurse for my poor family. After several days of this I’m just now starting to feel that bit of headache and that touch of tickle at the throat. I’m just hoping that I can hold out long enough to get them healthy.

We had company over last night and J was laid up on the couch all poopy, completely removed from everyone, and m was her typical quiet self but I could tell she wasn’t feeling too hot.I swear I should just put on a nurse costume. Today I am scheduled for an all-day shoot for a new project I’m working on. It’s hush hush and it will either end up being a book eventually or it will be subjugated to the garbage heap in the ether. You see, I’ve never done a book before and so if I ever do I want to make sure it’s something a bit different from what I typically do. Who knows it might work out, we’ll see.

But first I have to get the images right! So here I am gearing up for this. She’ll be here any moment! I’ve only ever worked with this model only once before, and that was for promo shots for her burlesque performances. The theme of these shoots today are completely different, so I’m curious to see how well she will handle it all. I do like working with new models though, it keeps things fresh.

I wish I could give a sneak peak. But I can’t. At least not right now. But I promise that if this stuff ever comes to be a book I will sneak peak the fuck out of it, in hopes that my happy art-lovers out there will buy the book perhaps.

You know that saying about how “when a door closes, a window opens?” I used to sorta think that was the silliest thing I’d ever heard. I used to think that if a door closes it’s for a reason, try harder and go right back up to the door again. I never really thought to look around for a window, just kept my eyes focused straight forward. Of late I’ve been taking my time, keeping things mellow, and I’ve let go of my “focus”…I’m sorta just riding for a while, seeing where things take me.

This is the scariest and hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve always had a back up plan, I’ve always had a well defined path full of goals and milestones. Jeebus I got nothing, and it’s working out amazingly. Ain’t that some shit! I have no clue what tomorrow is going to bring, or the next day, or the day after that, or the day after the day after that, or the….and I think I’m ok with that. Maybe. I’m 98% definitely sure this isn’t going to bite me in the ass in the end, and I’m approximately 87% sure that that is not just wishful thinking.

Like I said though, things have been great and they are looking as if they will continue to be great. For example, the first BDSM group that I joined back in the day was T3WD in SC. I didn’t get a chance to stay with them for long because I moved to NC shortly thereafter, but still it was my first group and that’s always special. Anyways, point is they asked me to come and do a class, so I get the chance to go back and get involved. Yay!! I think that’s rather kickass actually. We’re discussing perhaps a possible combo class of bedroom photography tips, beginner bondage, and bondage-shoot safety tips. Holy Crap! :D

And also Sabrina Fox is going to come and visit and I finally get to tie her up and suspend her! I am ovbiously very pyched about that. I’m also selling prints too, which is also pretty neato. Oh and I have an interview on Tuesday. A real suit and tie affair…well, I wish, I have to wear a blazer and trouser set, no tie. Wish me luck ya’ll! No seriously. If you don’t, I will find you. :)

I’ve long tried to explain to people outside of the “scene” that I don’t like weak women. I don’t enjoy women that have no backbone for lack of a better word.  I don’t really like brats either (unless they are pain sluts in which case at least some good comes of it - for them and for the tiny little sadist that lives in the far back of my head).  I love the women that are strong and thus can submit…nothing really submissive to me about a woman (or any sub for that matter - I only speak from my normal point of view) that would drop down and kiss the boots of just anyone…or that would allow for abuse and just take it.  I won’t/can’t go into the entire definition of abuse vs. play - it’s so broad and if you are reading this you guys are all pretty versed and intelligent about the subject.  I love the sub that actually enjoys serving, that takes joy in pleasing, that maybe likes some pain or humiliation but doesn’t just “take it”

I hope I’m making sense…but the real point was that when I shot Pandora she was that type of woman. We didn’t play but we did talk extensively and I just loved her attitude about it.  All this being said if you hate my writing I hope you love the image…

Happy Tied-Up Tuesday (TUT) everyone!

I think I have a secret fetish for bondage and furniture. I just like to tie up girls to lamps and chairs and disco balls and counters and yeah. You can’t really tell from this photo (mainly bc I’m in the way!!!!!) but the forefront girl is tied from the ottoman to the lamp and the girl in the back is tied to an upside down end table.

This is one of few “vanity” shots that I have. Though Catalina is trying to make me understand that it’s ok to be in the photos too!!

So here’s me next to one of my favorite pieces from the weekend (and by “pieces” I mean those hot girlie things in ropes beside me!!!). And yes, that’s a latex skirt…and yes, those are latex pasties.

So yeah…while at con I was “conned” into putting on this get up lmao!! This is funny because A) I put it on in the first place B) I allowed pictures to be taken and C) the pasties covered my entire bewbies! But hey, I’m trying to come out of my shell right?

In conjunction with its cultural event “Provocation - Sensualité & Érotisme”, and in association with Le Bal Érotique and Erotic Signature, Le Conseil des Arts du Québec (CAQ) will be host for “ARTundressed”, An International Erotic Art Exhibition Tour (Miami, Montréal, Berlin, Amsterdam, London), featuring over 150 artworks from 120 international artists.  Additionally, the work of 30 additional local and international artists, curated by le Conseil Des Arts, will also be on display at the Exhibition in Montreal from August 12 - 17th.

This collection of some of the world’s most talented artists derived from a yearly international juried competition from which 200 of the best entries were selected and published in a compendium entitled “The World’s Greatest Erotic Art of Today”.  Two volumes of this annual publication have already been released and contain a great number of the artworks to be exhibited throughout the Tour.  The third volume is due in Spring 2009 and will include the work of some of this year’s participating artists in the Montreal Show.

Well, it opened…..

I need to say this loud & clear…..  If it weren’t for Catalina and the rest of the wonderful bloggers here, the show would have been very different, not in a good way though.

Because of the enormous efforts of Catalina and everyone else here putting out the word and gathering sponsors to support me, I was able to mount 43 of my prints in WEAM, the World Erotic Art Museum.  I have had a number of one man shows here & there and actually just took down a year long show that graced the walls of the Leather Archives & Museum in Chicago.  Now this show was wonderful and all but I was an outsider coming in to show my work, WEAM on the other hand is local, I was written up in the local paper NewTimes Miami and was welcomed by my friends as the show opened.  This to me was the pinnacle of my shooting career.  All thanks to the perverts here that run the world of sex blogs…..  thank you!

Another wonderful thing Miss Naomi, the owner of WEAM, told my wife Janice, in the three years WEAM has been open, I am the first person to sell anything during an opening!  I sold one image off the wall, one limited edition 5×7 Beach Bound, one smaller version of Toe Suck out of my portfolio and 2 copies of the “Worlds Greatest Erotic Art of Today” Vol 1 & 2! My winning images appear in both books my muse Alyssa Loren was in attendance & was able to sign the books with me. Two of my images of her, Ally Bound & Spider Brides appear in Vol 1,  A VERY limited edition set of books!
