Did you happen to read Radical Vixen’s Interview with a Sissy? She interviewed a sissy named Nanette and I was very interested in the similarities and differences in our self discovery and experience. I emailed Vixen and she gaveme permission to post my own answers to her questions.

How would you define a sissy? What sort of things do sissies have in common?
I think it would be safe to say sissies worship the Goddess. I truly believe there is nothing as beautiful as the female form. It’s my calling in life to pamper and serve ♀.

For me personally: I’m a full-time panty boy. Other then a couple of pairs of silk boxers all my knickers are women’s. I also wear anything else feminine under my male clothes that I think won’t get detected (pantyhose, garter and stocking, cami’s, waist cinchers, sports bra’s…the satiny kind, girdles…one day soon a corset). I also have lots of things that can’t be concealed: larger bra’s, silicone breast forms, wig, skirts, dresses, nighties… ♀ and I have the same size feet so I can wear her high heels. We often go for pedicures together and my toe-nails are almost always painted. I shave my legs and pits. I love feeling ‘girly’.

I don’t play with dolls, but I brush and braid ♀ hair every night. I keep her feet smooth and her nails painted and I shave her legs and pubes. She gets lots of massages. When it’s convenient for her I change her tampons. For a special treat she sometimes lets me lick her dry after she’s peed. I also do waaay more housework then the average Joe.

I’m sexually submissive to ♀. I need her permission to masturbate. When we’re making love I’m usually the one spreading his legs for her. She often puts a butt-plug in me for extended periods of time (she’s especially fond of the Njoy because she can tug on the handle while we’re out). She fucks me with strap-ons. I like being physically dominated by ♀…she spanks, bites, pinches, slaps. Cuz only a  sissy would get beat up by a girl, right?

It’s funny, she tells people I’m her bitch and they think she’s kidding.

How do sissies differ from each other?
I agree with Nanette here. The big differences are orientation and the degree of sissification. I may not always appear feminized, but I’m always her bitch.

Humiliation seems to be a key part of being a sissy. Yet I would define the humiliation as a “fun humiliation”. Would you agree?
Yes and to expand on that thought there needed to be a huge amount of trust before I could go there. When she humiliates me, it’s in private. She does dominate me in public, but we both know where the boundaries are.

What do you consider to be the difference between a sissy and a crossdresser?
When I started trying to discover who (and what) I was I would go the the cross-dressing websites and read the message boards.  It seemed to me that a big part for cross-dressers is passing as female and even the ones that couldn’t pass had female names and totally separate persona’s and often completely separate lives when they were dressed en femme. I know lots of sissies use feminine names, but cross-dressers seemed to go beyond that. It seemed to be ‘lets all pretend we’re really girls and whoever gets the closest to passing as one wins’. That just really didn’t work for me. I have facial hair, a shaved head, big hands and I’m really very fond of my penis. No amount of make-up or dressing up is going to make me a princess. As Popeye says, “I am what I am.”  Also, the need to be submissive/humiliated is not necessarily a cross-dressers thing, but it is for a sissy.

When did you realize you were a sissy?
From the time I was a little kid I’ve liked girly things, but have always kept it hidden. I’ve always been drawn into relationships where I was submissive, with disastrous results. Before ♀ & I got married I told her I really liked lingerie and we’ve been exploring my sissification together ever since. But to answer your question I think I was about 40 when we actually found the label ’sissy’ and it was a eureka moment for both of us. It’s hard not to regret all those years of not knowing.

How has your sissyhood changed over time?
My sissification is very much entwined with ♀ becoming a Goddess. She is not by nature a dominate woman so it’s been an evolution for both of us. I am sooo lucky. As far as where it will go next? Maybe we’ll start inviting others to play with us.

What are some myths or misconceptions about sissies that you’ve run into?
The main one would be that most sissies are gay. I think the truth is most aren’t gay. I wear pretty panties, I have a horny ass and my nipples are oh so sensitive. I must be gay, right? Nope. I don’t get dressed up to attract men. I do it because I like to feel pretty and I love the feel of the fabrics against my skin and being sissified (or feminized) makes me feel less masculine and that’s all part of the submission/humiliation dynamic.

Part of that misconception is that forced bi-sexuality is a common fantasy for sissies. ♀ & I role play all the time, and the two reoccurring scenario’s that involve other men are; me with another sissy while ♀ supervises or me as the cuckold, fluffing the alpha male before he fucks her (and making me watch). Also, we both like the fantasy of the alpha male bending me over for his pleasure after he’s satisfied her needs. A big part of that thrill is that it’s forced. Being used for his pleasure or her entertainment is very submissive and humiliating.

But we also fantasize about including other women for me to pamper and serve and be dominated by.

Is there anything in particular that you would like people to know about sissies?

We have phenomenal sex drives. Seriously every woman should have one.

♀ often brags about me to friends and co-workers. She tells them about all the house work I do or all the pampering she gets or me taking her shopping and not complaining and they all say how lucky she is, but I think if they knew the truth they’d be singing a different tune.
